Second Week is Underway!

It has been a great transition into kindergarten.  Today we begin reading and math centers.  This week in our Language Arts centers, students are creating Elephant puppets, E word wheels, writing sentences about what they can do with their hands, playing with play-doh to increase hand strength, and working on improving fine motor skills.  In math centers, students are playing with pattern blocks, poly-drons, rainbow tiles, dominos, and Unifix cubes.  I have introduced simple centers to allow students to practice and feel successful at daily routines.
